Strategic Development and Continuous Improvement

CLIP is the leading independent accreditation system for corporate learning functions. It allows to take stock of where a learning function stands today, and where it could and should stand tomorrow.

Respect for Diversity and Benchmarking Excellence

CLIP reviews corporate learning functions along global standards in five key areas with a flexible approach that values diversity and unique organisational structures, particularly in digital, agile, and international learning models.

'Siemens' participation in EFMD's CLIP accreditation program was an intense reflection of our journey in becoming a learning enabler by building a learning and growth ecosystem for the whole company. CLIP has provided us with a comprehensive quality framework to continuously assess and improve our learning capabilities, helping us identify strengths and weaknesses and becoming aware of blind spots. Being a member of the EFMD makes Siemens a part of the dialogue about the future of learning. As the first company to be CLIP-accredited three times, we can attest to its power as a strategic development tool that keeps us future-fit and at the forefront of corporate learning excellence.'

CLIP accreditation process has strengthened Intercorp's corporate university (UCIC) commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. CLIP has provided us with a strategic quality management tool that benchmarks against international standards (and allows global fructiferous interactions) and allows us to delve deeper into areas for improvement. Thanks to CLIP, we have been able to enhance our informal learning proposition and improve the quality monitoring in our learning programs with more tangible measurement indicators, enabling us to continue progressing toward a total quality vision. CLIP FRAMEWORK

Efmd globla-new-clip- framework

The CLIP system is based upon a conceptual framework of quality criteria which are reviewed continuously by the CLIP Steering Committee.

The CLIP evaluation takes a broad view of Corporate Learning & Development and covers both, the professionalism applied in all learning and development processes and practices, as well as their grounding in business and organisational reality and their link to the company's strategic and transformation agenda.

The 15 standards in the CLIP assessment scheme have been grouped into five thematic chapters. There are three associated standards within each of these chapters. Each standard is supported by four criteria items.
