EOCCS was launched in 2016 at a time when virtual education was becoming an important dimension of delivery for many EFMD members. Interest in learning about good practices was growing, and EOCCS provided an opportunity to understand the course design process and to strengthen internal quality methods. Both in the reviews over the subsequent years and in the community of practice that grew beside the certification process, EOCCS offered a rich and productive space for dialogue.
EFMD Quality Services will assess whether EOCCS competences can be integrated into regular accreditation processes, inspiring future developments at both the programme and institutional levels.
