The COVID pandemic has caused one of the most significant educational disruptions in history. Despite all the accelerated challenges, the EFMD Central & Eastern Europe Community is successively serving, supporting and gathering members in regional activities, innovations and developments.

EFMD CEE Community‘s events have pivoted online, where members engage in our short- and long-term distance training & learning offerings, online “coffee” discussion and many other knowledge sharing activities.

AACSB, AMBA & BGA, and EFMD stand together in solidarity with the people of Ukraine

'I have truly enjoyed all the webinars and online events where EFMD had shown its flexibility and strength to quickly adapt to changes and where everyone gave their best. EFMD has shown to all of us how crisis can be used as an opportunity and taught us at the same time how important it is that we go back to our core values and life mission of serving each other through educational lenses. Throughout EFMD events we have also encouraged each other to have even more hope that we are doing things well and that we all have common aim to nourish business education and management development. And, that in this important mission, we are not alone.'

Zrinka Gregov

Senior Lecturer, VERN University

'The effectiveness of the future education model appears to be influenced by the global focus of the business school, allowing creating value-based impact and growth for internal and external stakeholders. That’s when you especially feel the power of networking.  Our joint online workshop with EFMD Global was devoted to facilitation of ideas and best practices in domain of internationalization in “the new normal” era. Based on the continuous support of our EFMD network we are quite happy how transition of our students’ virtual careers into real ones developed. Trendsetting the education market outlook with digital quality assurance framework is perhaps the best guidance for future students in many countries as they need support.'

Academic Director of GSEM and Head of Programme, Ural Federal University
