EQUAL4EUROPE is a research-based project that promotes gender equality in the European Research Area. It gets its inspiration from a previous string of research by the European Institute for Gender Equality. Each partner institution has developed and applied Gender Equality Plans and promoted a pan-European implementation of the process. As a leading HE network, EFMD ensured the visibility and exploitation of the results at the international level.

EFMD coordinated the publication of the “Handbook for the Implementation of Gender Equality Plans by AHMSSBL Institutions”. It includes a detailed report of the various stages of elaboration and implementation of a gender equality plan in research and higher education institutions.

ESADE (ES) led this project, in partnership with European School of Management and Technology Berlin (DE), INSEAD (FR), Nehem (NL), Erasmus Rotterdam University (NL), Bled School of Management (SL) and Comenius University in Bratislava (SK).
