ALTERNATIVE PROVIDERS Membership

Type of Membership aimed at executive development centres, training consultancies, associations, chambers of commerce, and other organisations actively involved in management development.

FULL
Membership

Full membership is for alternative providers actively involved in management development.
 
As a full member you have:
 
  • voting rights in the EFMD and EFMD GN Annual General Assemblies
  • access to our full portfolio of services
  • preferential rates to attend EFMD events and programmes
  • access to EFMD Global Fairs powered by Highered
  • access to the online membership overview

AFFILIATED
Membership

Affiliated membership is aimed at organisations located outside of Europe 
 
As an affiliated member you have:
  • access to the majority of our services
  • preferential rates to attend EFMD events and programmes
  • access to the online membership overview

ASSOCIATE
Membership

Associate membership is for newly formed organisations which have not been in existence for a sufficient period to demonstrate the viability and quality of their activities.
Associate members are accepted for a period of three years, after which they will be reviewed again by the Membership Review Committee and EFMD & EFMD GN President and considered for full or affiliated membership.
 
As an associate member you have access to:
  • the majority of our services
  • preferential rates for EFMD events and programmes
  • the online membership overview

APPLICATION PROCESS

Formal application

An alternative provider that wishes to become a member completes an application form. The application forms can be requested here.

Profile questionnaire

In addition to the application form, you will have to fill in the profile questionnaire, a detailed document describing the organisation and specifying its interests and expectations.

Membership review

Once finalised, the application is reviewed by the Membership Review Committee and the EFMD & EFMD GN President. The Committee then submits all the membership applications to the Board of Trustees for approval.

Approval by the General Assemblies

The Board of Trustees passes their proposals to the Annual General Assemblies, who meet in June. It is during these Assemblies that members are officially ratified.
