Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the 3rd mission in Georgian universities (SQUARE)

Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the Third Mission in Georgian Universities (SQUARE) proposes methodology and strategic planning instruments to strengthen the societal impact of higher education. The project also contributes to strengthening the existing quality assurance systems in Georgia, integrating the 3rd mission activities in the national evaluation. The project defines a clear scope of the mission and role of the universities at a national level and provides clear direction for the universities in Georgia.

The consortium is led by Tbilisi State University (GE) and is composed of Ilia State University (GE), Caucasus University (GE), Tbilisi State Medical University (GE), Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (GE), Akaki Tsereteli State University (GE), Gori State University (GE), Georgian Technical University (GE), the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture (GE), the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement (GE), National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (FR), University of Turku (FI) and NOVA University Lisbon (PT).
