Dean’s Circles

EFMD Deans Conference

EFMD Dean’s Circles provide a confidential peer learning environment where deans can engage in focused discussions on the strategic and leadership challenges they are currently facing.

Each Circle brings together a small group of five to eight deans from EFMD member schools, guided by an experienced moderator with prior dean experience. Participants co-design the agenda at the outset, ensuring that discussions are centred on real-time priorities and institutional dilemmas. Where relevant, external experts may be invited to contribute additional perspectives.

The format emphasises trust, depth, and practical exchange, creating space for open dialogue, shared experience, and collective problem-solving. It fosters strong professional relationships while helping participants navigate complex leadership situations with greater clarity and confidence.

Target audience

Deans of EFMD member schools who have completed the Strategic Leadership Programme for Deans.
