Excellence in practice eip awards

The EFMD Excellence in Practice (EiP) Awards offer international recognition for outstanding client-supplier partnerships in Learning & Executive Development projects. Participants, whether from a client-organisation, an in-house learning organisation, a business school or an alternative learning provider, engage in a collaborative effort to craft case studies that demonstrate the impact of one of their learning initiatives.

International recognition

The EFMD Excellence in Practice (EiP) Awards offer international recognition for outstanding client-supplier partnerships in Learning & Executive Development projects. Participants, whether from a client-organisation, an in-house learning organisation, a business school or an alternative learning provider, engage in a collaborative effort to craft case studies that demonstrate the impact of one of their learning initiatives.

Based on rigorous evaluation framework

The case study is reviewed based on four criteria:

1. The well documented business challenge and context.
2. The effectiveness of the project commitment.
3. The appropriateness of the implemented L&D initiative
4. The proven impact of the L&D initiative on the people, organisation and/or society.

Robust corporate Learning & Executive Development community

An international judging panel has reviewed over 550 cases so far, providing feedback for each one. The winning cases are highlighted at the EFMD Executive Development Conferences, providing a valuable opportunity for open sharing of experiences with the winning teams and other peer professionals attending.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Before submitting your case, please ensure that both your partnership and the case meet the following criteria:

  • Impactful L&D initiatives

    The case study must describe an L&D intervention implemented by an organisation (company, public sector, charity, etc.) in collaboration with its in-house L&D organisation and/or with one or more external L&D provider(s).

  • Partnership Description

    This partnership between the client and supplier(s) must be outlined in the case study clearly mentioning each parties contributions and benefits. Both sides should be different organisations or departments.

  • Joint Contribution

    All partners should contribute to the case study to ensure a balanced view.

  • Signed Authorship Declaration

    A declaration of authorship must be signed by a representative of each partner organisation, both client and supplier, who is authorised to approve publication of the case.

  • No Re-Submissions

    EFMD does not accept the re-submission of an EiP case study by the same partnership on the same L&D project. Cases already submitted in other competitions are accepted.

  • Handling Fee for Non-Members

    A handling fee will apply to case study submissions from partnerships in which neither party holds EFMD membership.
